AX film provides clear, highly transparent pictures that have sharp definition. This is because it is treated with a newly developed emulsion that minimizes that scattering of transmitted light. AX is also resistant to fogging at low density levels and is relatively unaffected by scattered light.

With its improved surface properties and higher resistance to pressure, AX film can be handled efficiently by various types of automatic transport devices. AX has a high drying efficiency and also incorporates a novel methods of preventing the accumulation of static electricity.
